In my decades of design experience, web design has consistently been a crucial starting point for my journey as a UI/UX designer. Since my student days, I have been actively involved in designing websites for schools and companies, spanning various industries. These past projects have provided me with invaluable experiences and taught me many crucial insights during the development process. This enables me to offer more professional opinions and knowledge when participating in development projects, assisting clients in understanding and defining the development requirements for web design.

Gourmet Food Marketplace (GFM) is a professional global terminal market for food products, connecting buyers and suppliers from around the world. Our goal is to provide buyers with a user-friendly platform for exploring a diverse range of items, with minimal purchase quantities, reasonable shipping costs, and ensuring that orders arrive intact in your hands.

This project, originating from the United States, is primarily focused on creating a new e-commerce platform responsible for providing a variety of products from different stores. I started by defining the brand and establishing its image, presenting two conceptual directions. After selecting a direction, I extended it to various screens, organized design system guidelines, and provided design drafts to frontend engineers for development.
The project underwent around three months of design and development before going live for user use. It has continued to be a collaborative effort, with ongoing improvements being made.

Serving over 500,000 users, it supports up to 18 languages and has even catered to users in North Korea. Additionally, it is the first exchange worldwide to receive the Red Dot Design Award from Germany.
